Here we are at Candy Crush level 122. Your task is simply to earn 40,000 points in the given amount of moves. You will be facing a variety of obstacles during your quest, however. It’s important to keep your focus and deal with them quickly. This level is easier than it looks. From my own experience, the chocolate squares can actually be used to your advantage early in the level. The biggest challenge will be dealing with the initial time bomb locked in a licorice cage. Use these hints and tips in my Candy Crush Saga guide in order to make things easier. Objective: Score 40,000 points Moves: 35 Stars: 1 star = 40,000, 2 stars = 55,000, 3 stars = 70,000 Tip #1: Your first priority for this map should be the timed bomb in the licorice cage. The chocolate squares are locked behind this cage and meringues. This is where you can use the chocolate to your advantage. If you manage to use a vertically striped candy to eliminate the licorice cage, you can allow the chocolate to spread and consume the bomb for you. Back to Top Tip #2: The chocolate squares will be free once you eliminate the first bomb. You will need to keep an eye on this obstacle and ensure that it doesn’t spread too thickly. You also need to keep an eye out for additional timed bombs entering the board. These should be eliminated as quickly as possible. This will score you an additional 3,000 points per bomb and keep you from seeing the game over screen! Of course, you don’t have to panic over any bombs with a countdown greater than or equal to your remaining moves. Back to Top Tip #3: Special candies will earn you the points you need to pass this level. They can also be useful in dealing with any chocolate or bombs in your way. A striped and wrapped combination is one of the best methods for earning big points in a short period of time. Don’t underestimate the effectiveness of a chocolate ball combined with a striped candy, however! That’s all there is to it. By now you should be getting the hang of watching out for timed bombs.
