You begin your game as a newborn and select your gender. Then you are prompted to choose an appearance for your character, who is now the captain of a starship, and after a brief navigation tutorial, the journey begins. Now you will maintain every one of your ships’ basic functions until you pick up your first recruit and level him/her up. From here on out you control the entire environment. It operates like any other traditional simulator but with a crazy amount of extra features, customizations, and epic space battles. Other than the Captain of the ship(i.e. you), there are over 200 characters in the game and each one has their own plotline and special abilities. The expansive features are all strategy based and offer the perfect balance of traditional mobile game mechanics and simulating environmental manipulation. There is also some occasional mention of this game making its way onto PCs via Steam (a 3rd party game launching module.) With how expansive this game is as an app, one can only imagine what it would be like a fully configured computer game. Be sure to remain vigilant and always be ready for battle. Find a rhythm and try to keep a fluid ebb and flow with your ships’ production and the crew’s needs. Remember to upgrade and add to your resource storage as soon as possible. When you begin picking up random items from missions besides your ships’ production, you will need a place to put it all. Keeping your crew happy and comfortable is important for reasons that are fairly obvious. Same with your reactors, they power everything that protects the ship to keep a crew member around at all times.
