You may also use a strategically placed horizontal striped candy to blast off all the licorice cages at the bottom row, making it a lot easier for your ingredients to pass through. You may also use wrapped candies to blast off nearby licorice cages. Another reason why you should use special candies is that they can increase your score. 80,000 points is a pretty steep target, so you need to score high by using special candies and also relying on Moon Struck, which happens twice in the game. Therefore, you should always look out for any imbalances in Odus, and act fast if he is on the brink of falling.
