Candy Crush Level 102 Tips
Level 102 in the popular Candy Crush Saga game is enough to drive anyone insane. This level is filled with meringue and licorice blocks, while the goal is to bring down a total of 4 ingredients (2 cherries and 2 hazelnuts) in a minimum of 40 moves. If that wasn’t enough, the level also includes those annoying candy bombs – something we address in our Candy Crush tips guide. Note: a previous version of this level included a row of chocolates at the bottom of the board. The layout has been updated to only include meringue and licorice. My guide has been updated here to reflect that change, but others across the Internet may be outdated. I was stuck for ages on this level, constantly running out of moves and having the bombs explode. Fortunately, I happened to stumble upon a few helpful strategies that helped me clear this impossible level. Objective: Bring down 2 cherries and 2 hazelnuts with at least 65,000 points in 40 moves Moves: 40 Stars: 1 star = 65,000 points, 2 stars = 115,000 points, 3 stars = 145,000 points. Hint #1 First and foremost, take care of the candy bombs. In level 102 the bombs detonate after only 5 moves, so make sure to clear them as soon as possible. Back to Top Hint #2 Next, make a few special candies. These will definitely help in clearing up the licorice and meringue, since certain combos (like striped and wrapped) have been known to clear all of the meringue in one move. Vertical candies are also known to be valuable in the level. Use the candies to clear columns with a lot of chocolate in them. What seems to help for a lot of people is creating holes in the lower layers of licorice and meringue, which can then either be taken care of with a striped candy, or through expanding the area until all the blocks are gone. Make sure to choose your moves very carefully in this step, as this part can easily fail the level if you’re not careful. After the blocks have been cleared, you can begin working on dropping the ingredients normally. Back to Top Hint #3 As an addendum to the first hint I gave, make sure you manage the time bombs wisely. If you notice a way to clear a bomb with and easy match in one move, it may be best to work in other areas of the board and focus on your level objectives before you spend the move. This tip alone probably saved me more than anything else from having to replay level 102 more times than I would have liked. While it’s true that level 102 is extremely challenging, remember that it is possible to defeat (unlike the next one, which our level 103 tips goes into)! Just cross your fingers, take a few deep breaths, and try some of the provided hints.
