Ready to bring down more ingredients? That’s what Candy Crush level 117 is all about. Things can be a little tricky for this one.
Chocolate squares and a small drop zone for your ingredients can make things challenging. I’ll admit, I didn’t have an easy time on this board, so if you beat this in one or two lives feel free to brag about it to me in the comments. I won’t blame you! Follow these hints to make the task a little easier.

Hint #1
It’s important to keep ingredients in the center columns. This is where the ingredient drop zone is and keeping them here will make things just a touch easier. Above the drop zone are the chocolate squares and above those is a double layer of meringue. Ideally, you should crack a layer of meringue in the column with your first ingredient.
Next, try to create a vertically striped candy in that same column. By triggering the striped candy, you will break the meringue, clear some chocolate and drop your first ingredient. This can also put your next ingredient in the same column.

Keep the chocolate in check. Chocolate can spread quickly if you don’t watch it. If luck is on your side, you can continue following the first hint to victory. Simply make those vertical striped candies and watch your ingredients fall away. If things aren’t going so smoothly, clear the chocolate. By spending a few moves to remove this obstacle you will have one less thing to worry about. Try to do this before the third ingredient falls, however, as you want to manipulate where it enters the board.

Hint #3
Remember, ingredients can be moved. If an ingredient is coming between you and a combination swipe it out of the way. Just remember where your drop zone is. Nothing hurts worse than moving an ingredient into a corner and watching your move counter diminish while frantically trying to free it.
That’s all there is to it. Most of this level is about manipulating where ingredients enter the field. If you can keep them within the drop columns things will be made easier.
This was the first tough level in a while, and you likely won’t run into another monolithic candy crushing task until level 125 (which we also have a tips guide for). Now, get out there and crush those candies so you can move on to Candy Crush level 118 where a centered wall of licorice swirls and hard candies stands in your way.
