Welcome to Candy Crush level 118. Your goal is to clear 8 pieces of jelly. It sounds simple, but I know form personal experience it can be a little challenging. You’re going to have to contend with a variety of obstacles, including meringue, chocolate squares and licorice swirls.
I’ve personally found this Candy Crush Saga level to be easiest if you can remove the chocolate squares in your first couple of moves. This will offer you the best chance of success. And remember not to waste your special candies before removing the licorice swirls.

Tip #1:
The first thing you should do is attempt to remove the chocolate squares in the lower corners. If these pests are allowed to spread your task will be quite challenging. Look for any combinations you can make next to them in your first couple of moves.

Tip #2:
You need to clear the meringue column before you can deal with the jelly underneath. However, the column is surrounded on both sides by licorice swirls. Remember, you can’t use striped candies to deal with anything beyond these swirls.
Your best bet is to focus on making basic combinations and work your way to the column. In effect, this should deal with the licorice swirls, too. Of course, a well placed wrapped candy can remove several swirls or meringue layers. Be sure to use them whenever possible!

Tip #3:
Once the meringue column has been eliminated, try using special candies to quickly deal with the jelly. A vertically striped candy will do wonders. Keep in mind, the jelly is double-layered. This means you’ll have to crush a piece of candy twice in each spot. At this stage, however, that shouldn’t be a problem!
That’s all it will take to move on from this level. It’s not very challenging, so long as you deal with the chocolate quickly. I hope to eventually see you on the next tough challenge, which I consider to be 3 rounds from now in Candy Crush level 121. Watch out for that ‘plus sign’ of licorice swirls.
