Hello, I’m glad you could make it to Candy Crush level 128. We’ve been given an order to collect 99 red candies in a fair amount of moves. If you’re up to the task (and I know you are), then let’s get started.
This Candy Crush Saga level is going to require you to open a path to allow candies to enter the board. You’ll have to perform this task quickly or you’ll be finding yourself with no moves available. Trust me, this is not as bad as it seems. Keep these hints in mind and you’ll be moving on in no time.

Tip #1:
The top of your board is blocked by licorice cages. To make matter worse, rows below this are already missing candies. This means you can’t use basic combinations to break through this barrier. It is vital that you find a way to create a vertically striped candy or chocolate ball to punch a hole in this blockade and allow new candies to enter the board.
If you run out of available moves, it’s game over. You only need to remove one blocker; however, removing more will help to completely fill your playing area.

Licorice swirls will be falling into your board. Remember that these will prevent any striped candies from eliminating what is beyond them. You’ll want to remove these obstacles quickly if you intend to use striped candies or striped and wrapped candy combinations as your strategy.

Tip #3:
Your goal is to eliminate 99 red candies. This means you should be looking for ways to eliminate reds above all else. Any special candies can help with this task. However, chocolate balls can be your best bet.
Ideally, you should combine your chocolate ball with a red candy to quickly collect every one on the board. However, if you find yourself short on reds, combine the chocolate ball with a color that is suffocating your board. This can allow new red candies to enter the board and may result in additional combinations from the influx of candies.
There now, that wasn’t so bad. Things always look worse in the beginning. But if you keep your focus, things are always easier. If you’re up to it, I’ll see you on the next level, and then on what is probably my least favorite and most challenging map so far in the game in Candy Crush level 130.
