Level 137 is perhaps the most confusing level in Candy Crush Saga, with its diamond-shaped board and many portals. The limited number of moves further complicates this level, but it is actually easier than it seems. The key to advancing to the next round is understanding how this level works.
Don’t be too intimidated by the candy teleporters on the edges of the board. I was at first, but they’re fairly intuitive after you play the level a couple times through. Before you make any moves at all, make sure you know you’re starting in the right place by following my tips below.

- Objective: Bring down 1 cherry and 1 hazelnut and score at least 20,000 points.

- Stars: 1 star = 20,000 points; 2 stars = 30,000 points; 3 stars = 40,000 points
Hint #1:
Unlike other levels, the candies will not cascade directly from top to bottom because of the presence of portals and dead spots. At first, the movement might seem confusing, but it is actually pretty easy to remember. The ingredients first appear on the first 3 columns at the top of the board, then they pass through a portal and move to the 3 columns on the right side of the board.
After entering the next portal, they will move to the 3 columns at the bottom of the board, and finally end up on the final 3 columns on left side, where the ingredients will be released. It is also important to take note of the dead spots found in between the holes in the board. Understanding the movement of the candies and ingredients will help you plan your next moves.

Hint #2:
Knowing that the releasing points are located at the columns on the extreme left side of the board, you should focus on making your moves there. You only have 18 moves so avoid making useless moves, especially those that do not cause the ingredients to reach the releasing points.

Hint #3:
Avoid accidentally placing your ingredients on the dead spots. Once they get stuck there, you might as well just restart your game because they are next to impossible to remove. Special candies and combos, like striped + color bomb and wrapped + color bomb, can get your ingredients inside these dead spots, so resist the temptation to make them as much as possible.
Level 137 is quite tricky and might take some time to practice, but learning the strategies can help you breeze through the next level. Levels 138 & 139 should provide a nice break from the harder obstacles, but level 140 brings a new challenge – which we address in our guide.
