I am addicted to Candy Crush and I freely admit it. However, I remember being stuck on level 147 forever and was on the verge of quitting the game all together in a furious rage (probably with some leftover angst from level 130). Once I calmed down a little (it took me a while), I retried the level with a new strategy in mind. It was one of the hardest levels in the game (so far), but it only took a couple attempts to clear this level with the following tips and cheats.
Firstly, you should know there are several ways to approach this level. With enough practice, they’re probably all accurate. However, the below tips and hints are exactly how I beat this stage of the game, and I think if you apply my strategy and maybe give up a few lives, you’ll beat the level too.

- Objective: Clear all the jellies.
- Moves: 50
- Stars: 1 Star = 125,000 points, 2 Stars = 190,000 points, 3 Stars = 230,000 points.
Hint #1
First off, focus almost entirely on the middle portion of the jelly. Doing so will allow a greater chance of a cascade taking out the sides and corners for you. Spending moves focusing on the edges of the board on this level will come back to bite you, in my experience.
Once you get a cascade, did that clear out any of the corner jellies or candy blockers? If so, good. If not, you’ll need to do a little more work to beat the level – but it’s perfectly doable with the 50 moves you’re given.

Hint #2
This may seem fairly obvious, but keep an eye on the number of turns you have left before you absolutely must clear a candy bomb. Make the lower number bombs a priority, and don’t go out of your way to clear the higher number bombs while neglecting the middle of the board.

Hint #3
Once the middle has been sufficiently cleared (or even if you have a few straggler jellies), focus on the bottom of the board, utilizing any special candies you have left over to clear the bottom. Keep hanging on for those cascades to help you with the sides of the board.
Needless to say, the horizontal striped candies are the best way to get rid of the jelly at the bottom. If you can manage to get one to the bottom of the board, celebrate because you’ve set yourself up well for beating Level 147.

If you follow these tips, you will be surprised how quickly you can beat level 147, and then move on to level 149 on Candy Crush Saga. This is how I did it and it did take a few tries, but now it is on to Level 148 for me and hopefully you too.
