If you haven’t found yourself loathing the chocolate squares, that’s about to change. As you may have come to expect from previous levels of Candy Crush, level 149 uses these pieces to make your task very challenging.
Chocolate squares will be attempting to block new candy from entering the board. Well, I say “attempting,” but really I mean “forcing.” There’s really no getting around these things wrecking almost all of your plans for this level. I’m here to help, though. Keep focused and follow these hints to make your task a little bit easier.
Quick Guide
Hint #1 – Clearing the chocolates
Hint #2 – Which order to focus on first

- Objective: Collect all orders and score 30,000 points
- Moves: 35
- Stars: 1 star = 30,000, 2 stars = 90,000, 3 stars = 120,000
Hint #1
Your first priority is to clear the chocolate. If the chocolate is left to expand, the top of the board will be blocked and no candies will be falling into the board. Unfortunately, there are 2-layer meringues blocking most of the row under the chocolate. Your best bet is to create vertically striped candies, these will help deal with the chocolate and add to your order count. Whenever possible, use these candies to break chocolate and crack through meringue. The more of these you clear, the better chance you have at success.

Hint #2
Your task for this Candy Crush map is to create a combination of 2 wrapped candies, 10 striped candies and clear 99 blue candies. This looks daunting at first glance, however, the biggest challenge (after the chocolate) is creating the 2 wrapped candies and combining them. So, you should be focusing on that order above the others. This combination will require a strict focus on the board, consider how candies will fall each time you make a move and plan accordingly.

Hint #3
If you get the wrapped candies out of the way things get much easier. It might sound like a challenge to create 10 striped candies, however, you can create a single striped candy and combine it with a chocolate ball. Not only will you create plenty of striped candies, you will likely break a large amount of blue candies, too.
There you have it. Chocolate squares will have you pulling your hair out but with these hints on your side you should be successful in no time. Now, get out there and crush those candies. Level 153 of Candy Crush will be very tough, but your next few rounds (with the possible exception of level 151) should be a piece of cake.
