The board in level 161 looks busy, with all the licorice cages, jellies, and chocolate fountains on the map. You only have 45 moves to clear all the jellies despite the presence of all the obstacles. Trust me, it’s just as hard as it looks.
Another difficult thing in this level is the fact that you might not be able to keep track of the remaining jellies because they have been covered by chocolate. You may opt to take a screenshot of the board and mark the jellies that you have destroyed to make things easier for you. Here are some of my best Candy Crush tips I came up with after playing the level a few times.

Tip #1:
Although it is not imperative to remove all the licorice cages in this level, you may want to do that in order to have more room to create matches and special candies. If you don’t free these locked candies, you might have a difficult time filling up the jelly squares with candies.
As a result, no matter what move you make, you won’t be able to progress in this level. You can remove the cages by making matches with the candies inside them.

Tip #2:
This is the time to make as many special candies and combos as you can. All of them will help you win this level, but the best ones to combine are the color bomb and striped candy, and striped candy and wrapped candy.
These combinations will get rid of many jelly squares, and it will be easier for you to make these combos once you have removed the licorice cages.

Tip #3:
No matter how many times you clear the chocolate, it will keep growing back because of the presence of three chocolate fountains in this level. Therefore, the best thing that you can do is to play near these fountains, so that you keep the chocolate at bay. Don’t give the chocolate a chance to dominate the whole board.
If you thought three chocolate fountains were a pain, get ready for the next round in Candy Crush level 162 where 4 chocolate fountains await your arrival. And yes – they’re just as tough as they sound.
