Some Candy Crush Saga players might find level 18 difficult, considering the layout of the board. It is especially hard to remove the jellies close to the holes in the middle of the board.
The fact that you are only allowed to have 16 moves to remove 20 double jellies further complicates the matter. You may not quite yet be familiar with the double jellies, but you’re going to start seeing them over and over again on this level and several ensuing levels. Level 18 is not rocket science, but it can be difficult. So, here are some hints to help you conquer this round.

Hint #1:
The best thing about this level is that there are only 4 candy types on the board, making it easier for you to find special candies and candy combinations. In your first few moves, try to make as many combos as you can, since these will help you clear the jellies with fewer moves and hike up your score.
The best candy combinations to make are the striped and wrapped candies, especially if it is located in the middle of the board. Another combination that you should make is the color bomb and striped candy, which can trigger multiple striped candies to activate.

I highly recommend you start practicing making special candy combos now. You’ll thank yourself later when you’re playing Candy Crush level 70 over and over again. Trust me, the challenges you’re facing right now are NOTHING compared to later in the game. The fun is only beginning.

Hint #2:
Remember that the jellies in this level are double jellies, meaning you have to hit the block twice in order to remove the jellies. That being said, you should make sure that your every move brings you closer to your objective. Avoid tinkering with blocks that do not contribute to your goal of removing the jellies.

Hint #3:
If you cannot find any candy combinations any longer, then choose your next moves at the bottom of the board to take advantage of the cascading of the blocks.
You have more chances to eliminate jellies if you let new candies drop top the board and make multiple matches on their own. This way, you also limit the moves that you make, making it more possible to finish the level with fewer than 16 moves.
