In level 21, you are introduced to meringues, which is the basic type of blocker in the Candy Crush Saga. The blocks being occupied by meringues do not have any candies in them, and you have to destroy them before removing the jellies and accomplishing your objective.
Despite the presence of blockers, you might find level 21 easy because of the huge game board, enabling you to find candy combinations without much difficulty. Personally, I liked playing this stage, but did find dealing with the meringue a little tricky. Follow my tips below to beat this level.

Hint #1:
The first thing that you need to do in this level is to clear all the meringues first. The blocks that contain meringues also happen to be the jelly blocks, meaning you won’t be able to remove the jellies without dealing with meringues first. You can get rid of the meringues by making matches adjacent to them.

Once the meringue is destroyed, the block it was previously occupying will be filled with candy, enabling you to make candy matches that will destroy the jellies.

Hint #2:
You will notice that the board in level 21 is a huge one, without holes and stubborn corners that could complicate the game. Take advantage of this good board by making as many combos as you can, even at the top of the board.
The best combos you can make are the striped candy combined with wrapped candy and color bomb combined with striped candy. Take note that meringues are not destroyed by color bombs alone, so it is best to activate your color bombs when the meringues are gone and you only need to remove the jellies.

Hint #3:
To speed up your game, focus on clearing one side of the board first before proceeding to the other side. This will prevent you from compromising other promising matches on the other side of the board. Once you run out of moves on one side, proceed to the other side of the board. This will also help you organize your game and find adjacent combos to help you destroy the meringues and jellies.
Your next big challenge will come a couple levels from now in Candy Crush level 23 where you’ll be expected to clear several columns of jelly.
