A lot of players fail in level 25 of Candy Crush because of the presence of two blockers — the regular meringue and the locked candies or licorice blockers. While you may already be familiar with the meringue, the locked candies are first introduced in this level.
You can only get rid of the meringue if you make matches using the locked candies. Otherwise, you will not be able to clear the jellies underneath those licorice blockers. Sound like fun? Hint #1:
It can be very time-consuming to try to find matches that will use the candies in the licorice blockers, so another way to get rid of them is to activate candy combos that will hit them. The easiest special candy that you can create is the striped candy, which can remove the locked candies in just one hit.

If you can position a horizontal striped candy in the row where the locked candies are located, the better it will be since you can get rid of those licorice blockers in just one move. Otherwise, other candy combos will also be helpful in this level.

Hint #2:
You should try to find candy matches near the blockers, since making matches away from them only wastes your moves and keeps you away from your objective. Always keep in mind that your objective is to remove the jellies, and these jellies lie beneath the blockers that you need to clear first.

Hint #3:
Always make your matches at the bottom of the board. Not only are the blockers located at the bottom, but working low also triggers the cascade effect that might prove to be advantageous to you if you are ever at a loss for moves. With the cascade effect, you increase your chances of getting candy combos that you can use to release locked candies, remove meringues, and clear all the jellies.
