The feared level 28 may seem easy at first because there are only 12 jellies that you need to remove in this level. The score is also achievable, since you only need 40,000 points to pass the level. However, the presence of meringue obstacles can hinder you from achieving your goal in a jiffy. You only have a very limited number of moves to finish this level. You will need to start practicing your special candy combo-making skills, and focus on trying to clear specific areas of the board. To avoid repeating this stage over and over again, here are some tips I used for getting past this level of Candy Crush Saga. Objective: Clear all the jellies and score at least 40,000 points. Moves: 22 Stars: 1 star = 40,000 points; 2 stars = 60,000 points; 3 stars = 100,000 points Hint #1: To give you the advantage of a wide board, start the level by clearing the meringues in the middle column. You can do this by making matches that are adjacent to the meringues. By doing this, you are opening up more spaces in the board that will allow you to make more matches as well as special candy combos. This will help hike up your points and remove all the jellies surrounded by meringues at the bottom of the board. Back to Top Hint #2: Just like most levels, candy combos are very helpful in level 28. The striped candy and wrapped candy combination is particularly effective, since it creates a giant candy that can hit multiple rows and columns in the board. Try to make this combination near the bottom of the board so that you can hit all the jellies in just one move. It can also help clear the meringues, giving you more space to work on in removing all the jellies. Another helpful combo is the color bomb and striped candy, which can make several striped candies that go off in a single move. Back to Top Hint #3: All the jellies that you need to remove are located at the bottom of the board, so working low will definitely help you clear them. Staying low will also produce the cascade effect, giving you more opportunities for better candy matches that can help you create combos and increase your score as well.
