You’ve made it to Candy Crush level 39. Considering all of the levels you’ve had to conquer to get here, that’s quite impressive. Now, I hope you’re ready to collect some more ingredients.
Licorice cages are going to make your task a little challenging. I know by now you might be pretty used to the cages by now and you’ll have no problem, but for me personally this level was a bit of a doozy. If you’re also having some trouble, don’t worry – if you follow my hints and tips below you’ll do just fine.

Tip #1
Your first priority should be opening up as many columns as you can. Those licorice cages can make it a nightmare to collect your ingredients. And things are only going to get worse if an ingredient is sitting on top of one of those cages. So, be on the lookout for any basic combinations that can remove these obstacles. You have plenty of moves, using a few to clear the cages is certainly no crime.

You should be on the lookout for any special candies that you can make. Vertical striped candies are particularly helpful. If you activate one of them in the same column as an ingredient you can collect that ingredient in a single shot. However, this is only true if the licorice cage in that column is already opened. Otherwise, the striped candy will only break the cage and leave its candy behind. Still, even that can be beneficial!

Tip #3
Don’t worry about the columns with the missing spaces. Although it looks like ingredients and other candies should fall into space, this is not how it works! In fact, anything that ‘falls’ into those spaces will actually appear on the opposite side. Essentially, you can use these columns to reduce the number of rows you need to clear by 1. Remember, striped candies will travel across this gap, too. Be sure to use this to your advantage!
With that, you will have completed this level. So long as you remain vigilant and clear the cages early, you will have plenty of moves to collect your ingredients as well as meet your point goal. Now, get out there and crush those candies so you can move on to the next level of the game.
