Because this is the 500th level of Candy Crush Saga, you should expect it to be one of hardest levels in the game. I think this level did not disappoint in terms of difficulty. You have almost all types of blockers imaginable—multi-layered meringues, licorice swirls and cages, chocolate fans, cake bombs, and even occasional candy bombs.
Your objective in this level is to bring down 8 ingredients, and at first, this might seem like an impossible feat. Be ready to repeat this level at least ten times, but also keep in mind the following Candy Crush strategies to somehow make your game more manageable.

Tip #1
The first thing that you need to do in this level is to make the ingredients show up. You won’t be able to do that if meringues are blocking the way. Therefore, you need to make moves that hit the meringues so that you can get rid of them and make your ingredient appear on the board.
It is also important to target the cake bombs and licorice cages, not only to clear the board, but also to free up more space that will be needed in order to make special candies and combos. All kinds of special candies and combos will be helpful in this level, as well as the coconut wheel located at the bottom of the board. If you get to unlock this properly, this will help you create horizontal candies that can blast off the bottom meringue blockers.

Tip #2
Only the four outer columns have exits on them, and those columns are where your ingredients will be dropping from anyway. Whatever happens, do not switch your ingredients with candies in other columns, unless you can be absolutely sure that you can get them back on track. Believe me, it’s very hard to get your ingredient to a desired column, so just let it be and work around it.

Tip #3
Every now and then, the licorice generator will also release candy bombs that go off in just six moves. Make sure that you attend to each one of them so that your game will not end all of a sudden. You should also make sure that it does not end up in an unreachable spot, such as the original spot of the coconut wheel.
You can also use all kinds of combos to remove those bombs and at the same time help you reach your objective. Just get rid of the bomb as soon as possible.
You deserve a huge treat once you get past level 500! Although there are still levels after this, you may want to give Candy Crush Dreamworld a try just to give you breath of fresh air. Just like in this level, you also have to bring down the ingredients at Candy Crush Dreamworld level 11, though it is definitely a task that’s a lot easier.
