You’ve arrived at Candy Crush level 74. You’ve done well so far, but the challenges will only get increasingly difficult from here. You need to collect a lot of ingredients for this level. Let me tell you – the objective for this level is only a small sneak-peak at the kinds of tough obstacles await you in future stages in the game.
The odd shape of this board is not going to be doing you any favors. The nooks and crannies in the layout really threw me through a loop at first, but once you get a hang of how the candies fall you’ll be better off. Apply the hints I used below to beat the level and things will be a little bit easier.

The shape of this board is going to make ingredient collecting very difficult. Of course, that piece of chocolate won’t be making matters any better if it is allowed to spread. Try to use your early moves developing a strategy of removing this pest. This isn’t absolutely essential, but it will make things far easier for you. Tip #2
Vertically striped candies are an excellent way of collecting ingredients quickly. This level is not an exception. However, vertically striped candies can be hard to come by because of the way the board is arranged. Horizontally striped candies will be easier to create. Of course, any kind of striped candy combined with a wrapped one can perform miracles for you. Don’t miss a chance to use such a combination!

Tip #3
The biggest frustration with this map is the shape. It won’t do you any good if you don’t know where your next ingredient is going to enter, either. This means you should attempt to manipulate the board to your advantage. You know an ingredient will enter the board as soon as you collect one.
You can use this to your advantage by maneuvering your current ingredient into the column you want the next ingredient and only working in that column. It can be challenging to pull this off on a regular basis. However, it is a useful strategy.
With these hints and just a bit of good luck, you’ll be moving on to level 75 of Candy Crush before I can count to, oh, lets say one-hundred-seventy-eight. Be sure to take a few deep breaths and consider every move. Now, get out there and crush those candies!
