As one of the most difficult levels so far, level 79 might have you stuck in Candy Crush for days. You have every imaginable obstacle here – locked candies, double and regular jellies, meringue, and your worst enemy—chocolates.
The chocolates were the bane of my existence on level 79, as they usually are in Candy Crush. It took me a few lives just to figure out how to deal with the chocolate best, and a few more play-throughs to work up the tips I’m about to share. But, not to worry – because all special candies and candy combinations will be very helpful for you in this level.

- Objective: Clear all the jellies and score at least 100,000 points.
- Moves: 40
- Stars: 1 star = 100,000 points; 2 stars = 120,000 points; 3 stars = 180,000 points
Hint #1:
You will notice that the locked candies at the bottom of the board are keeping the chocolate from dominating the whole board. It is likely that the chocolate will spread within the area enclosed by the locked candies, but don’t worry about it yet. The important thing is to keep the chocolate locked as long as you can while you work on the top part of the board. However, if you find any opportunity to get rid of the chocolates, grab it immediately so that you can eliminate one of your main problems in this level.

All special candy combinations will be useful for this level, but if there is one thing that you should try to do, it is the vertically striped candy in the middle column. This will hit the three hard-to-reach jellies at the center of the board, hence sparing you form wasting many moves just trying to get rid of them.
Furthermore, this will eradicate the chocolates. If you make a vertically striped candy targeting the center column of the board, you hit two birds with one stone. If not, at least try to make as many special candies as you can since they will all help in clearing the jellies.

Hint #3:
Instead of focusing on the jellies at the upper part of the board, start matching candies at the bottom to maximize cascading matches. This will prevent you from wasting your precious moves. Once you have cleared the bottom part, you can proceed to making candy matches on the upper half of the board.
Remember to keep the chocolates in control because once they dominate the board, you are pretty much doomed. The good news, though, is once you’ve crushed this level, the next handful of levels are fairly easy (maybe with the exception of level 81). At least in comparison to the one you just played.
