The board in level 89 of Candy Crush Saga seems simple enough, but it can actually get really difficult once the chocolate starts covering your board. If you don’t do anything about it, you‘ll have to hit the jellies three times to clear them because of the chocolate, and the fact that they’re all double jellies. Yikes.
Although you are given enough number of moves, it is still useful to have a Candy Crush Saga strategy in tackling this round to avoid repeating it over and over again. When I first started playing, I was known to repeat a level way too many times without first developing a sound strategy. My tips here should help you avoid making the same mistakes I did.

- Objective: Clear all the jellies and score at least 100,000 points.
- Moves: 50
- Stars: 1 star = 100,000 points; 2 stars = 125,000 points; 3 stars = 150,000 points
Tip #1:
Your priority in this level is to get rid of the chocolates once and for all. Unlike in previous levels, the chocolates are not contained by other blockers like meringues and licorice cages. Every move that you make that does not hit a chocolate will result to one more chocolate block, so try at least to make every move destroy a chocolate. This can only be done by keeping your moves on the bottom of the board and making matches adjacent to the chocolates.

Tip #2:
Once you have gotten rid of the chocolates, your next problem is trying to get to the corner jellies. These are the hardest jellies to reach, so try to target most of your moves in clearing them. Do not forget that you have to hit them twice because they are double jellies.
To make your life easier, you can try making a horizontal striped jelly, and then activate it on the bottom row to hit those hard to reach jellies. You can also try making a color bomb and combine it with a candy that has the same color as your remaining corner jellies.

Tip #3:
As usual, candy combos in any part of this level will be very useful. The best combo that you can do is a striped and wrapped candy combo, which will produce a giant candy that can wipe out a huge chunk of your board. A combination of color bomb and striped candy can also clear majority of your board.
The next round you’ll face is level 90 of Candy Crush, where a tricky layout of four separate columns trips a lot of players up. Let me know if you have any trouble beating that level and I’ll try to help any way I can.
