In level 96 of Candy Crush Saga, you get introduced to the time bombs. You will notice that each time bomb has a number on it, and this represents the number of moves it takes for it to detonate. You don’t have to worry too much about them in this level, since all of the time bombs will detonate after 15 moves, which just so happens to be the exact number of moves in this level.
For the most part, all you need to focus on is getting the required number of points to pass Candy Crush level 96. You do in fact need to clear the time bombs before your moves run out, however. But, I found if you take your chances with a cascade or two they’ll take care of themselves.

Tip #1:
As previously mentioned, it is not imperative to destroy the time bombs in this level because they don’t have the ability to prematurely end your game. You don’t need to fear them at all. However, you will benefit a lot from destroying each of the four time bombs, since one gives out 3,000 points.
Hence, if you manage to get them all, you only have to make 3,000 more points in order to pass the level. Try to clear as much of the time bombs as you can, all the while being mindful of your 15-move limit. You can do this by making matches with the same color of time bombs.

Tip #2:
Clearing the meringues can also help hike up your points. Although you don’t need to clear all of the blockers, doing so will open up the board for more matches and possible candy combos. It is easy to clear the meringues, since you only need to make moves that are adjacent to them. You can also easily clear the meringues using candy combos.

Tip #3:
Since your moves are limited, try as much as possible to make candy combos that can help hike up your score. Wrapped candies will work best in this level, as well as both vertical and horizontal striped candies. You can use these candy combos not just to increase your score but also to clear meringues and time bombs.
