In level 204 of Pet Rescue Saga, your goal is to save five pets while also trying to reach the target score. This can be a bit challenging because 40,000 points is not easy to come by, plus you only have five pets all throughout the game. Unlike other levels where pets regenerate, you won’t expect the same for this one.
Being really careful about the pets is one thing, but it will take more than that strategy to pass this level with flying colors. Here are some of the other techniques that I used in order to advance to the next round.

Tip #1
As you may well know by this time, your pet is in danger of falling when your columns are stacked up too high. Once there are no moves left in the round, your topmost pet will fall off so that the board can move downwards. Since you only have five pets, that is one thing that you should avoid at all costs.
To prevent this from happening, you need to destroy the blocks that are under the animals. The free rocket boosters can help with this. When there are no more moves left, only blocks will fall off the board and your pets can land safely on the ground.

Tip #2
At first, it may be tempting to use the key to destroy the locked blocks right away. But hold up until you reach the second layer of locked blocks, because this is precisely the key that will unlock them.
To know when you are supposed to use the first key, make sure that you see the second key first before using it. The second key will then be used to unlock the locked blocks that you will encounter as you go down the board.

Tip #3
To help you reach the score requirement, you need to make huge block combos throughout the game. The paint brush booster at the bottom of the board will be of huge help to you. Make sure that you use them to color the remaining blocks in one color, so that you’ll get a high score when you destroy them.
Keep in mind that destroying all the blocks in the game will give you a 20,000-point bonus, so strive to match all the blocks in this round.
Five pets might seem too easy in this round as compared to Pet Rescue Saga level 206, where you need to save a whopping 12 pets.
