Some players may find it easy to get past this Pet Rescue Saga level. However, there are a large contingent of players who are still having difficulty in getting the required number of points. Saving 6 pets can be done in jiffy, but 40,000 points is a high target.
Not only will you have to save the required number of pets, but you’ll also have to do so while keeping an eye on your score. You need to employ some useful strategies in order to reach the points needed and advance to the next round.

Hint #1:
One of the basic things that you need to do in Pet Rescue Saga level 40 is to make big clusters of blocks to achieve the points needed. If you only break two blocks at a time, you will not garner enough points to move on to the next level. Remember that saving the pets is not your only goal, since that comes too easily. You should focus on getting enough points because this is the more difficult part.

Fortunately, there are many 2x multiplier blocks in the game. Take advantage of these blocks to score higher points. Make sure that you use them in large clusters of blocks to get a higher score. Think very carefully of your moves because a wrong move might cost you the game.

Hint #3:
If you want to use a booster, you should stock up on the Block Buster booster at the start of the level. This trick will help you get rid of single blocks that might be hindering you from making quality moves. Make sure that you purchase this booster at the beginning of the level since they are more expensive when you buy them in the middle of the game.
Don’t fret if this level gives you a few issues after the first couple of tries. I had to play through it 3 or 4 times before I figured these tips out. The next level shouldn’t be too difficult, but Level 42 caused me some trouble – so be sure to read our level guide if you get stuck on that one too!
